"We loved this campground and the owners! We plan a weekend of sxs riding each year and this year we picked the Baldwin area. This campground is very close to state land and riding trails making it super convenient to get out and ride. The shower house was clean and sites tidy. The owners are very personable and we couldn't have been happier! Thanks for a great weekend!"
"Wonderful place to stay! Very nice staff and the cutest little cabins. Breakfast for a large group was a breeze, thanks to the large griddle and grill under the open pavilion that was available to use. Very clean bathrooms and showers that were available to all that didn't have those accommodations. Overall we had a wonderful experience and looking forward to coming back "
"You will not find a better campground... under new ownership and they have not skipped a beat! They are absolutely wonderful people who make you feel welcome. Would love to see a fish cleaning station in the future like the betsie campground. There is nowhere near baldwin to clean and dispose of fish unless you drive to Ludington which makes it a HUGE hassle for us fisherman. Enjoy your stay and bring your friends(dont forget to bring your furry friends too!)"

We stayed at Ivan’s Campground & Cabins in Baldwin over Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful experience. We were in Site 5 with 30-amp electric and water. The site was spacious, level, easy to get into, and had plenty of shade.
The entire campground was very clean, quiet, and quaint. The bathrooms and showers were especially clean and well maintained. The campground also has a camp store, firewood available, picnic tables, and other conveniences that make your stay comfortable.
What really stood out to us, though, were the owners, Melissa and CD Taylor. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming and were very present around the campground. We regularly saw them taking care of the property, picking things up, and making sure everything was in good shape. They were always willing to lend a hand or answer a question. They were also happy to share information about local fishing spots, ORV trails, and other things to do in the Baldwin area.
The atmosphere is peaceful, laid-back, family-friendly, and very welcoming. If you're looking for a quiet campground where you can relax and where the owners genuinely care about their guests and their property, this is a great place to stay.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we're already planning our next trip back!

The Cycle Conservation Club of Michigan was incredibly fortunate to have Ivan’s as our home base for the Six Days of Michigan event. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely happy to have us there. They went out of their way to make sure our group had everything we needed and made us feel right at home.
It was also so wonderful to see how much they embraced the entire event. They welcomed our riders, volunteers, families, the Twisted Taco Tent, and even the Briar Payne Band, helping create an atmosphere that felt like so much more than just a campground—it felt like a community gathering.
Their kind Facebook posts throughout the week meant a lot to us. Knowing that they enjoyed having the CCC group there as much as we enjoyed being there really says something about the people behind Ivan’s. Their hospitality, positivity, and genuine appreciation for our organization made the entire experience even more special.
Ivan’s Campground & Cabins came highly recommended, and they absolutely did not disappoint! We would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly, welcoming place to stay in the Baldwin area.

"We stayed here with our CCC trip and it was so much fun. Showers were clean and had excellent water pressure- a must for me with long hair on a dirt bike trip. The hosts were super friendly. Upon check in they told us of hidden sasquatches on the grounds for kids to find and turn in for a treat- my ten year old had a blast and found one. Our site did need an extra long hose for water- but we had one in the camper. All in all 5 star."

"If you’re going to Baldwin to fish, ORV, or just camping , this campground should be on your radar as a great place to camp. The owners are very accommodating and friendly and if you have a large group they will work with you to make a great event.
For those that are camping with tents the back half of the campground has some very nice and secluded campsites that kind of take you back to a simpler time, when camping was a tent, a campfire and and friends sitting around the fire at night talking about the days adventures.
I will stay here anytime I’m over here to ride.

The bathhouse was clean and well stocked and the accommodations they offer is none I’ve seen anywhere else. When we called to rsvp a spot I expected the same monotoned and annoyed voice like I had when calling two previous campgrounds; instead we were greeted with excellent service and were looking forward to our trip 10/10 would recommend anytime, great family campground and the goats were fun to see! "Absolutely loved my stay here! My cabin was so clean on arrival. There is a broom in there to help clean up the sand tracked in. The AC was fantastic and plenty of space to put belongings. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and are hands down some of the cleanest ever. The new owners Melissa and CD are such a fantastic host. They had free activities throughout the day for kids and adults. They provided free slushies with 12 flavors during day, free popcorn at movie night. For prizes for the kids they were giving out ice cream and candy. The animals on sight are so loving! "Beautiful campground, amazing owners and soo much to in area . Off road trails kept up by DNR . River near by for kayaking or canoeing . And the best part is the Canoe company will pick you up at the campground. If you want to go off road the trails are attached to the back of the campground. You would just need to bring your own off road toys .. There is a remote control model airplane field near the campground . It was cool watching them fly while sitting outside. There is a furniture meusem near by that was stunning and the history was very interesting ! There are a lot of places to visit near and a day trip away from the campground. Staying at Ivan's was DEFINITELY a win win !!!"
"This was a last minute stop. Was out on the bike for a trip and the weather went bad the day before. So I didn't want to camp in a tent again. So I stop in to see if they had a cabin available. Yes they did. ; ) great choice on my part. They only had the 4 person cabin but I found a spot for me there. With the movie night ( was a kids movie but with the fire. "David and Kelly Wieda are spectacular hosts! We stayed in the "Home of the Brave Cabin" (2 older ladies on a trip north to kayak). The cabin was adorable and comfortable with everything we needed including air conditioning one evening that was particularly hot. Dave and Kelly were kind enough to let us make our evening campfires at an unused campsite a bit deeper in the wooded area, so we could feel like we were camping, even though we were in a cabin. We know that was a "one off" as they weren't busy yet, but really appreciated the kindness. Ivan's is a beautiful place with lots of lovely campsites to choose from as well as the cabins. Highly recommend! And the Pere Marquette River is such fun and so beautiful to kayak!"
