You would just need to bring your own off road toys .. There is a remote control model airplane field near the campground . It was cool watching them fly while sitting outside. There is a furniture meusem near by that was stunning and the history was very interesting ! There are a lot of places to visit near and a day trip away from the campground. Staying at Ivan’s was DEFINITELY a win win !!!

Deb Banfield

“My husband and I stayed in the Home of the Brave cabin in May for 5 nights. It was very comfortable. It has a bathroom with shower and a kitchenette with everything needed. I would definitely recommend Ivan’s. Other cabins are nice too. The campground is clean and well maintained. Shout out to the new owners, Melissa and CD Taylor!”

Stacy Taylor

Direct Access to ORV and ATV Trails

Trail riders choose our property because they can access nearby ORV trails directly from the back of the campground. This ride-in and ride-out convenience helps guests spend less time loading machines and driving to a separate trailhead.

The Little “O” ATV Trail and other local routes provide exciting opportunities to explore the forest and surrounding terrain. Riders can head out for the day, return to their campsite or cabin, and relax without repeatedly transporting their ORV or ATV. Direct trail access also makes group riding trips easier to organize. Friends and family members can camp together, prepare their machines on-site, and begin their ride from a shared home base surrounded by the natural beauty of the Manistee National Forest.

Close to Fishing, Rivers, and Paddling

The surrounding region is well known for fishing and river recreation. Guests can reach the Pere Marquette, Pine, and Baldwin Rivers within minutes, making our campground a convenient choice for anglers, paddlers, and groups planning water-based adventures. The Pere Marquette River is a favorite destination for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and scenic floats. The Pine River offers another popular paddling experience, while nearby access points give visitors several ways to spend time on the water.

Large group sites are available for paddling clubs, fishing parties, reunions, and organized getaways. After a day on the river, your group can return to the campground, gather around the fire, share stories, and prepare for the next outdoor adventure.

Large Group Sites for Shared Getaways

Camping is often better when it is shared, and our large group sites provide room for friends, relatives, clubs, and activity groups to stay together. These sites are suitable for reunions, weddings, paddling trips, ORV weekends, and other special gatherings. Group camping allows everyone to enjoy the same experience while keeping meals, activities, and plans easier to coordinate. Guests can spend the day exploring in smaller groups, then return to a common campsite for dinner, games, and time around the fire.

Availability and site requirements can vary based on group size and travel dates. Contact our team before booking so we can learn about your plans and help identify an accommodation setup that makes sense for your gathering.

A Convenient Base for Every Kind of Outdoor Traveler

Our location works well for travelers with many different interests. Anglers can reach nearby rivers, paddlers can plan group outings, hikers can explore scenic routes, and trail riders can access ORV adventures directly from the property.

RV travelers appreciate the choice of pull-thru and back-in sites, while tent campers can enjoy wooded surroundings and a more rustic experience. Guests who prefer indoor lodging can reserve a cabin or the on-site RV rental. This flexibility means a group does not have to camp in exactly the same way. One family member can stay in a cabin, another can bring an RV, and others can choose tent sites while still sharing the same vacation.
