Blessing of the Bikes The Blessing of the Bikes started with 8 riders and 4 motorcycles in 1972 who gathered at the St. Ann Catholic Church. From those humble beginnings it has grown into one of the largest events in the area. It is attended by bikers and non-bikers alike from around the country and is open to everyone. Families come to walk around downtown Baldwin and look at bikes and to enjoy the vendors and great food.

Marquette Trails Golf Club
Marquette Trails Country Club, built and designed by Joe Balulis, Bill Kater and Seth Bidwell, opened in May 1964 as a nine hole course. The back nine was completed in 1985 with efforts of sons young Joe and Ed. Condominiums were added in 1991 and a new club house and restaurant in 1993. The golf course is now a fun and challenging course which the Balulis family hopes will continue to grow in beauty and character.
